This year the popular Celebrate conferences have had to be cancelled because of Coronavirus, but instead we are offering five evenings of spiritual input. Zoom will help us to fill the gap as we offer Catholics the opportunity to continue to grow and mature in their walk with Jesus.
Many Catholics have already experienced the blessings which come with the Celebrate weekends, normally held once a year in our diocese. For any who don’t know Celebrate, it is a weekend for the family which is filled with speakers, workshops, Mass, reconciliation, exposition of the blessed sacrament, and prayer ministry, and much more; a place where we rely on the Holy Spirit to enable us to grow, together, in our faith. It is one of those blessings of the Church which bring families, from babies to grandparents, together to pray and worship.
Because of the present situation we have been led to present it in a different way this year and we are very excited about what the Lord has planned. We are aiming to reconnect with our longstanding Celebrators and with anyone who is interested, to explore the five values which encapsulate the Celebrate vision.
We will be hosting five Celebrate Together evenings via Zoom, which everyone is invited to attend. We would love you to come to as many as you can, joining our Regional East Anglian team to pray, worship and be inspired by a short presentation from a keynote speaker on each of the five Celebrate values. The opportunity for prayer ministry will also be available afterwards.
When you register for these evenings at: www.celebrateconference.org you will be sent the invitation code to join the Zoom evenings.
There is also more information about the speakers and other resources on this website. The dates and themes are:
The sessions will run from 7:30-8:30pm. There is no charge, but all donations will be gratefully received.
