Headteacher (L15-21, starting range L15-17)

Full Time – starting January 2023 (or flexible for the right candidate)

Sacred Heart is a Primary School in which the Catholic ethos is evident in the relationships between all children and adults and in the prayer life of the school. Sacred Heart is a highly supportive school, rated Good by OFSTED and we are looking for a practicing Catholic leader to complete our journey to Outstanding, in line with our Section 48 Inspection outcome. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their career as the successful candidate will be joining a strong Multi Academy Trust committed to staff development and a school which benefits from excellent facilities and resources in a bright and welcoming building located in the north of Peterborough.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, ethos driven and capable senior leader to take the helm of our happy and high achieving school. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success as a middle or senior leader and will commit themselves to further improving Teaching and Learning in Sacred Heart.

We welcome applications from candidates at the cusp of school Leadership, as well as strong established leaders. Applications are sought from practising Catholics who will develop further our Catholic ethos.
