Below are a list of events from around the Diocese of East Anglia, the majority are run by the Diocesan Youth Service but some may be run by other organisations operating in the Diocese.
Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd June 2019: Celebrate East Anglia
A Catholic family conference run over the weekend of 1st and 2nd June at St Benedict’s School, Bury St Edmunds with separate ‘streams’ for children and young people, some of which are run by the Ignite Team. More information can be found on Celebrate’s official website: www.celebrateconference.org
Friday 7th to Sunday 9th June 2019: Vocations Retreat for 18-35 year olds
For all those open to a vocation to the priesthood or religious life. Join other young adults open to a vocation of total giving to the Lord as they discover their heart’s deepest desire and God’s dream for them.

Saturday 15th June 2019 (TBC): Burning Lights
Day of faith, fun, food & friendship for those aged 8 to 12. Including music, games, prayer & loads more. More details to come soon.
Friday 5th – Thursday 11th July 2019: ECHO Theology of the Body Retreat, Walsingham
Exploring the riches of Catholic teaching on love, masculinity & femininity and our awe-inspiring vocation to live that teaching out. This event is being run for young adults by the American group ‘Dumb Ox Ministries’, at Walsingham in July.

Thursday 22nd – Monday 26th August 2019 – Youth 2000 Walsingham Summer Festival
One of England’s biggest Catholic events takes place each year at Walsingham in Norfolk. Run by Youth 2000 and aimed at 16-35 year olds with high-quality talks, praise & worship music, workshops and 24 hour Adoration. It’s a summer festival, but Catholic! Monthly – ‘1061′ Young Adult Formation Retreats
Run by the National Shrine of Our Lady & Youth 2000 at Dowry House in Walsingham for 18-30s exploring prayer & sacraments, scripture & tradition and radical generosity. Visit www.youth2000.org/1061 for more information.

The Ignite Team also runs various events within parishes and schools including retreats, school missions and youth Masses. For more information on what the Ignite Team can offer to parishes and schools click here.
Glow Days: these are retreat days the Ignite Team can come and run in your parish and/or deanery for young people in your parish who are interested in growing in their faith. The day is composed of dynamic talks, interactive workshops, activities, music and opportunities for prayer and reflection. Discipleship Days: these are similar to our Glow Retreat Days but are aimed at people aged 16 – 35, exploring areas of our faith in greater depth and also enabling us to grow together in fellowship. The day is composed of times of prayer, both communal and personal, talks, discussion and workshops.
