Upcoming Events 2018 – 2019               
Below are a list of events from around the Diocese of East Anglia, the majority are run by the Diocesan Youth Service but some may be run by other organisations operating in the Diocese.

4th November 2018: Diocesan Symposium on Youth, Faith and Vocational Discernment Those being sent as delegates will be contacted with full details in due course.

24th November 2018: Glow Day at St John’s Cathedral, Norwich, NR2 2PA 9:30am to 5pm. Retreat day for anyone of secondary school age who wants to deepen their relationship with Christ including dynamic talks, interactive workshops, activities, music and opportunities for prayer and reflection. 4th-6th January 2019: Ignite Lite weekend – open to all aged 16-35 who are interested in growing in faith and discipleship & especially those who are members of, or are interested in joining, our team of part-time volunteers: ‘Ignite Lite’.

6th January 2019: Epiphany Candlelight Mass & Fireworks – Christmas celebration for young people from around the Diocese, and their families, at the Bishop’s residence in Poringland, near Norwich. Mass is followed by food, a bonfire and fireworks.

21st-29th January 2019: World Youth Day Panama, open to those aged 17 or older by the 1st of September, 2018.  For further information please click here.

4th & 5th May 2019: Ignite Festival – annual bank holiday weekend festival for those aged 12-18 featuring live music, quality speakers and plenty of opportunities to encounter God in a new and profound way. Most participants stay on to join the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Walsingham on the 6th. Visit www.ignitefestival.co.uk. (More details of this year’s festival will be released in due course) 

Monthly – ‘1061′ Young Adult Formation Retreats – Run by the National Shrine of Our Lady & Youth 2000 at Dowry House in Walsingham for 18-30s exploring prayer & sacraments, scripture & tradition and radical generosity. Visit www.youth2000.org/1061 for more information.
