On Saturday, 21 June, 55 parishioners from Our Lady and St Walstan’s in Costessey gathered to enjoy a delightful Strawberry Tea organised by the Union of Catholic Mothers (Costessey Foundation).
The event was a wonderful opportunity for the parish community to come together in fellowship and enjoy a summer afternoon of refreshments and conversation. Thanks to the generosity and support of all who attended, an impressive £406.20 was raised in aid of this year’s chosen charity, Samaritan’s Purse.
The Union of Catholic Mothers expressed their sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the afternoon such a success, whether by baking, serving, or simply sharing in the occasion. The funds raised will support Samaritan’s Purse in their mission to provide practical care and assistance to people in need around the world.
