Day of Prayer for Engaged Couples: Sunday February 9

Rite of Election: Sunday March 9, 3pm, St John’s Cathedral Norwich. For all Catechumens and Candidates being baptised and confirmed at Easter.

Ignite Diocesan Youth Festival: May 3-4, St Benedict’s, Bury St Edmunds.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Walsingham: Monday May 5, 12 noon to 4.30pm. One of the major annual events of the year in the life of the Diocese. National Shrine, Walsingham

Diocesan Children’s Pilgrimage to Walsingham: Tuesday May 31, 10.45am start with walk from village, then at National Shrine, Walsingham (also Jubilee of Families, Grandparents and the Elderly).

Annual Celebration of Priesthood: Thursday June 12, 10.30am for 11am start, White House, Poringland.

Diocesan Marriage and Family Life Mass: Saturday June 14, 11.30am, St John’s Cathedral, Norwich. Mass for couples celebrating special wedding anniversaries.

Ordination to the Permanent Diaconate: Saturday July 19, 11.30am, St John’s Cathedral, Norwich.

Altar Servers Mass and BBQ: Saturday July 26, 11.30am, St John’s Cathedral, Norwich, followed by a barbeque.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes: August 22-29

Dowry of Mary Pilgrimage: Sunday September 7, 12 noon – 4.30pm, National Shrine, Walsingham.

Meeting of the Retired Priests of the Diocese: Thursday September 18, 10.30am coffee, 11.30am Mass at Our Lady of the Annunciation, Poringland.

Annual Gathering of Deacons, wives and students and wives in formation for the Diaconate: Saturday September 20, St John’s Cathedral, Mass at 11.30am and buffet lunch.
