Unite in Prayer and Compassionate Action

School staff, governors and support staff from across the Diocese of East Anglia gathered at the Church of Our Lady Immaculate and Saint Etheldreda, Newmarket, on Wednesday 8 July for a special Mass celebrated by Bishop Peter Collins.
The Mass brought together those who serve in the Diocese’s schools to give thanks for their dedication and commitment to Catholic education.
Bishop Peter acknowledged the vital contribution made by teachers, governors, administrative staff and all those who support the life of Catholic schools across East Anglia. He thanked them for their service in helping to nurture young people in faith, learning and community.
The annual gathering provided an opportunity for prayer, reflection and fellowship, recognising the important role Catholic schools play in the mission of the Church throughout the Diocese.
Following the celebration of Mass, attendees had the opportunity to meet and share experiences from across the diocesan school community.
