Beautiful gifts on sale at Clare Priory’s virtual craft fair

After having to postpone its annual craft fair because of Covid-19 restrictions, the parish at Clare Priory came up with the idea of a virtual fair.

The Craft Fair 2020 includes a a virtual tour of the grounds, an opportunity to meet the exhibitors and ways to take a look at the amazing handmade crafts on offer.

Virtual visitors can listen to music from entertainer Beany and get video tours of the old and new churches by Fr David Middleton.

Since 1993 Grade 1 listed Clare Priory has hosted the Craft Fair every July. Over the years it has grown into the hugely successful event it is today, welcoming over 10,000 visitors during the weekend.

Exhibitors and visitors alike return year after year to take in the unique atmosphere the Priory setting has to offer. As a not-for-profit event, all proceeds go to charity and none of this would be possible without the team of unpaid volunteers who donate their time and expertise to run this event every year.

The virtual fair will open at 10am on Saturday July 11. From then you will be able to join a virtual tour on the Clare Priory website here:
