Bishop to lead first Diocesan pilgrimage to Walsingham

Bishop Peter Collins is set to lead his first Diocese of East Anglia pilgrimage to Walsingham on Bank Holiday Monday, May 1.

The pilgrimage will start at 12 noon with the Regina Caeli and the Crowning of the statue of Our Lady of Walsingham in the Friday Market, outside the parish church in the village.

This will be followed by a Rosary Procession to the Basilica, along the Holy Mile, led by the parish of King’s Lynn

At 2pm there will be a Service of Reconciliation and Confessions at the Chapel of Reconciliation and around the crosses, followed by a Pontifical Mass led by Bishop Peter.
