Christians Together in Southwold, a vibrant ecumenical group uniting the Southwold Catholic parish, the Anglican Sole Bay Team of churches, and the United Reformed Church, came together this Lent to share the Gospel through a series of community initiatives.
Throughout Lent, the group organised weekly study sessions, offering parishioners the opportunity to deepen their faith and reflect together during this important season. In addition, each church hosted a weekly soup lunch, with proceeds generously donated to the ShelterBox charity appeal, supporting emergency aid efforts around the world.
The Lenten activities culminated on Good Friday with a moving Ecumenical Service followed by the annual Walk of Witness through the town. During the walk, children from the group distributed Hot Cross buns and Christian messages to both tourists and locals, offering a tangible reminder of the hope and love at the heart of the Easter story.
Christians Together in Southwold continues to be a shining example of unity and shared faith within the community.
