The Catholic Diocese of East Anglia is seeking an energetic, customer-focussed professional to support its 52 parishes in managing an estate of over 150 properties including churches, residential properties and community facilities.

Salary: in the range £45,000-55,000

Hours: Full-time

Based: Norwich and around the Diocese, with the possibility of home working


The Catholic Diocese of East Anglia is seeking an energetic, customer-focussed professional to support its 52 parishes in managing an estate of over 150 properties including churches, residential properties and community facilities.

The community served by the Diocese is diverse and dynamic. Our geography is huge and varied. In a Catholic church on a Sunday, you are likely to meet people from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds, from all generations. The Diocese of East Anglia is one of the most inclusive organisations in Britain.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Diocese’s properties are used as efficiently and effectively as possible in support of the spiritual and material needs of the Church and wider local community, and the Diocese’s wider mission.

The Diocesan Property Manager will report to the Director of Operations and Finance, closely support Parish Priests and Finance Committees, and will have an important working relationship with the Historic Churches Support Officer and the schools property team.
