East Anglia Diocese announces Retreat Day for Women

The Diocese is delighted to announce the 2025 Diocesan Retreat Day for Women, will be taking place on Saturday 15th November in Cambridge.


The theme for this year’s retreat is Waiting in Hope and will be led by the sisters from the Community of Our Lady of Walsingham.

Date: Saturday November 15th 2025

Time: 10.40am – 4pm (Optional parish mass at 10am)

Location: The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and the English Martyr’s, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 1JR

Parking: There is no onsite parking, you will need to pay to park in Queen Anne Terrace multi-storey carpark nearby.

Retreat facilitated by: The sisters from The Community of Our Lady of Walsingham  (walsinghamcommunity.org/)

Cost: £10 per participant, money to be paid directly to the sisters on the day

Food: Participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch, though soup and bread and cake will be provided by the sisters.

Childcare: For mothers attending the retreat, there will be childcare facilities provided on-site by the Sisters. Please let us know in advance if you are likely to need childcare.

This retreat is a unique opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and be spiritually enriched before Advent.
