Diocese Joins Thousands at 2026 March For Life

The Justice and Peace Group at St John’s is inviting parishioners and members of the local community to a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing on September 17 at 7pm in the Narthex.
The 50-minute film aims to bring communities together by presenting a clear, scientific account of the risks posed by the climate and environmental crisis.
It features reports from some of the UK’s leading climate and nature experts, who briefed MPs and civic leaders on the effects of the climate emergency and the solutions available.
Following the screening, there will be an opportunity for discussion. The Justice and Peace Group hopes the film will act as a catalyst for conversation and encourage greater coordination between parish groups undertaking local environmental initiatives.
