Fr Seelan offers chance for Holy Land pilgrimage

Fr Arockiya Seelan is leading a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in September and there is still the chance to join the trip.


Fr Seelan, parish priest at Sacred Heart & St Oswald in Peterborough, will be leading the eight-day pilgrimage in late September staying in four* hotels in Bethlehem and Tiberias with the established Northern Star Travel company.

The trip includes the Nativity Church, the Shepherd’s Field, the Mount of Olives, the Chapel of the Ascension,  the old city of Jerusalem, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations for Mass on the Rock of Agony and the Western Wall and Mount Zion.

Also include are St Annes Church where the parents of the Virgin Mary lived, the Pool of Bethesda, the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Bethany, Jericho, the Mount of Temptation, the river Jordan, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes and Cana.

The eight-day trip departs on September 21 and returns on September 28.COST PER PERSON: £1395.00 sharing £1695 in single room
COST INCLUDES: 

Return flights Luton – Tel Aviv, Airport duty & passenger taxes.
One suitcase per person for the aircraft hold, 20kgs
Five nights half board 4* Hotel Bethlehem.
Two nights half board 4* Hotel Tiberias.
Pilgrimage programme as per the itinerary including entrance fees.

Travel insurance £65 per person, no age limit and no medical screening required.
