Fr Stefan and Fr Luke lead evenings of renewal for Lent

The Diocesan team for renewal in the Holy Spirit is organising two Zoom evenings this Lent, under the title of “Come and See”.

Philip Walters, Chair of the team, writes: “During the pandemic it is a blessing to know that God is with us and in us, consoling us and supporting us. To encourage us in this, the diocesan team for renewal in the Holy Spirit are organising two evenings in Lent entitled, ‘Come and See: finding God in stillness, worship and his Word’.

Fr Stefan Park, the prior of Clare Priory (on March 2) and Fr Luke Goymour, chaplain to the Diocesan Youth Team (on March 16) will lead these evenings and will help us to deepen our relationship with Christ and know him working in us by his Holy Spirit.

“On each evening there will be an opportunity to join Hamish MacQueen, the diocesan youth leader, as he leads us in singing and worshipping God. And at the end of each evening there will be the option to be prayed with, in the confidentiality of Zoom rooms, by two experienced members of the ministry team.”
