Macmillan coffee, St Michael the Angel, Rise Theatre

Latest news from the Diocese of East Anglia includes a coffee morning at St John’s Cathedral, a film about St Michael and a play about Marie Madeleine d’Houët.

On Friday September 30, St John the Baptist Cathedral hosted its annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. Thanks to wonderful generosity and good baking skills it raised £537.60.

A documentary film called ‘St. Michael: Meet the Angel’ had its premiere on September 29, the Feast of Archangels.

A confidential copy of the film together with a licence for the public screening is available for £180. With basic audio and video equipment parishes and individuals can hold a film viewing event in their parish or school.

Two versions were produced – Polish audio and English audio with Spanish subtitles.

A trailer and information can be found at  radio.bobola.church/2022/09/20/saint-michael
