As the second lockdown started, March parish decided to create a Window of Hope to mark All Saints Day. Rebecca Bretherton reports.
Taking advantage of a large hall window, we created a display of light, with inspirational messages shining in the early evening darkness.
This year our November remembrance of departed loved ones had to be different. Inspired by the tradition of wayside chapels, we decided to include passers-by in our remembrance.
Pictures of saints hang all over the tree we have decorated. We have included well-known saints like Saint George along with saints from East Anglia and all over the world.
Our message is: the Lord is with us and our loved ones now, and we can all share everlasting life with Him.
We are planning a new window for Advent.
