Despite a little rain, St Joseph parishioners, in St Neots, gathered in the parish garden on May 14 to crown Our Lady (pictured above). Fr Tibor Borovský, parish priest, led the prayers and Francisca Shaw placed the crown, which was handmade by Liz Lloyd. The event was attended by members of the UCM and the Rosary Prayer Group. The crown was handmade by one of the parishioners.
The Catholic Association Pilgrimage to Lourdes, of which the Diocese of East Anglia is a part, have produced a video showcasing the opportunity from August 23 to 30.

East Anglia pilgrimage director Dcn Huw Williams, said: “East Anglia pilgrims are signing up and it will be wonderful if we can grow our numbers further. Funding is still available. Young helpers (17-25 yrs old) for our assisted pilgrims are very welcome.”

HMP Highpoint is looking to appoint a part-time Catholic Chaplain who could be an ordained priest or deacon, a religious brother or sister or a lay person.
Based in Haverhill in Suffolk, the job holder will provide faith/belief and pastoral care to prisoners and staff of their own faith/belief tradition and have an understanding/knowledge of other faith/beliefs as part of a multi-faith/belief chaplaincy team. Job holders will also be required to meet the pastoral needs of people of other faiths/beliefs and none.
It is an 18.5-hours-a-week post with pro rata pay of £33,104 – £34,694.
