Montana Care Home, a faith-based service inspired by the values of the Grace & Compassion Benedictines, is celebrating exceptional results following its latest quality assessment by West Suffolk Council under the PAMMS framework.
The assessment, which takes place every three years, ensures that social care providers meet required standards and continue to deliver safe, effective and high-quality care. Across 21 categories, Montana Care Home achieved an Excellent rating in 20 categories and Good in one, meaning 95.2 per cent of all assessments received the highest possible rating.
The results highlight the home’s consistently strong leadership, compassionate culture and commitment to outstanding care.
Commissioning and Contracts Officer Adela Xu spent two days at the home, marking her third visit, and concluded the assessment with full assurance.
Rooted in its founding mission, Montana Care Home provides person-centred care that honours dignity, individuality and wellbeing. People of all faiths, and none, are welcomed into a community where kindness, respect and shared humanity shape daily life.
The assessment reflects the dedication of the staff and Sisters, whose teamwork creates a warm and supportive environment where residents receive care tailored to their needs.
A spokesperson for the home said: “We are delighted with these assessment results, which recognise the dedication and compassion shown by our whole team every day. Our faith inspires us to serve others with dignity, respect and kindness, and we are proud that this commitment is reflected in the quality of care we provide. We would like to thank our Manager, Sr Thaya Moses, who has served as Manager for the past 21 years, our staff, Sisters, residents, their families, and the volunteer workers who support our activities — each plays a vital role in making our home such a special community.”
Montana Care Home has also been rated Outstanding in three categories across its last two CQC inspections, further demonstrating its sustained excellence.
The home remains committed to continually developing its services while staying true to its mission of caring for others with compassion, respect and excellence.
In addition to its PAMMS success, Montana Care Home also recently received a five-star rating following its latest Food Hygiene inspection.
The assessment resulted in an overall rating of Excellent, with no action plan required.
