Sean puts in pedal power for Pax Christi fundraiser

Sean Finlay is among many Pax Christi supporters who will be a doing sponsored bike rides this month to raise money for the charity.

In common with so many other good causes, Pax Christi has experienced a serious drop in income in the past year. Donations from the Peace Sunday appeal were down by 75%.

In company with a couple of friends with whom he regularly rides, Sean will be setting out on May 20, starting at the entrance to the disused air base at RAF Sculthorpe. The group will complete a loop to take in the Catholic Shrine at Walsingham.

You can sponsor Sean via this link.

Other Pax Christi supporters will be raising funds during the same week, which includes Pax Christi’s 75th anniversary. Fausta is having a dance-a-thon, Bruce is delivering a peace message to foreign embassies in London, Matt is cycling 50 miles visiting peace sites, Pat is going on a walk from Victoria to the Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park, Rachel will be cycling for 75 miles, to celebrate Pax Christi’s 75th anniversary.

Please go to their website www.paxchristi.org.uk/register-you-interest/ for details on how you can sponsor them.
