Sheringham and Cromer say goodbye to Fr James

Fr James Fyfe has retired from the Parish of Our Lady and St Joseph Sheringham and Cromer after three years of service.

His last Mass was on September 11 and many parishioners gathered afterwards to say goodbye and wish him every happiness in his retirement and his move to Kent. The children of the Parish prepared a special thank-you card for Fr James thanking him for all he had done. As is the custom in the parish a wonderful cake was made and shared.

Darryl Smith, Chair of the Parish Council, thanked Fr James for his three years of service to the parish. Fr James arrived shortly before Covid turned so much upside down and he was thanked for all the work he did through those difficult times.

Fr Peter Wygnanski has been appointed as Priest Administrator for Our Lady & St Joseph, Sheringham, with Our Lady of Refuge, Cromer.
