Festive Lights Raise Funds for St Benet’s Minster

On the Feast of St Stephen, Friday 26 December 2025, the parish community of Our Lady Star of the Sea and St Nicholas, Lowestoft, gathered for the 12 noon Mass to celebrate a special moment in the life of one of its young parishioners.
During the liturgy, Freddie Fallon was presented with the Silver Guild of St Stephen Medal by Fr Padraig Hawkins, recognising his outstanding dedication as an altar server.
Freddie was first enrolled into the Guild of St Stephen in June 2013 and has now given more than twelve years of faithful service to the parish. Throughout this time, he has exemplified the qualities expected of a server: reverence in his actions, careful attention to his duties, consistent commitment, and a strong understanding of the Mass.
The parish community warmly congratulates Freddie on this well-deserved honour and gives thanks for his years of generous service.
