Southwold Christians Come Together in Lent

Christians Together in Southwold is a vibrant ecumenical group. In this, the Southwold Catholic Sacred Heart parish joins the Anglican Sole Bay churches and the local URC. They share the Gospel together, including in study groups during Lent.

This Lent, the churches in Christians Together in Southwold each ran an enjoyable homemade soup lunch, hosted in the Cardinal Newman Hall of the Catholic church. These lunches raised funds for Suffolk Coastal Poverty Action (SCPA). SCPA delivers debt advice, money education, life skills and employment support to local Suffolk communities.

On Good Friday, the Christians Together in Southwold Lenten worship culminates in an ecumenical service, followed by a Walk of Witness through Southwold. They offer hot cross buns and share the Easter message of joy and hope, before welcoming all comers to an open-air service proclaiming the Gospel.
