St John Henry Newman Catholic Primary School will open as planned in September 2022. However, owing to construction delays, it is likely to operate from a reduced number of classrooms on the school site to start with.
These will be classrooms for the Reception year and children in years 1 and 2 as we had always planned. It is expected that the Nursery classroom will also be open.
Outside there will be play areas for the children as well as safe vehicle and pedestrian entrances and a car park. The remainder of the building will be segregated to allow the building contractor to complete the remaining works safely and without disruption to the school day.
