Webinars of Trussell Trust, Stella Maris, Catholic Voices

The Trussell Trust, which runs the Foodbank network, will be hosting an online breakfast event for church leaders on Wednesday April 28.

Many Catholic parishes are actively involved with the foodbanks, not only by donating food, but also by providing venues, volunteers, leadership, and financial support.

The online event will be an opportunity to hear from Emma Revie, Chief Executive of the Trussell Trust. There will be time for prayer and reflection, networking, a live Q&A, and input from church leaders and foodbank teams.

All leaders are welcome, whether your parish supports a foodbank, or whether you’d just like to hear more about the Trussell Trust’s work. You can find out more and register here.

Stella Maris (previously Apostleship of the Sea) has held its first webinar to tell supporters about what goes on behind the scenes. Julian Wong, Regional Port Chaplain for East Anglia and the Haven Ports, shares the link to this webinar for all who would like to hear how Stella Maris supports seafarers.

Catholic Voices is hosting an online conference entitled ‘Sharing the Church’s Story’. It has been rescheduled for Saturday April 17 from 2pm to 9pm.

The conference will offer ideas about how to answer tough questions about the Catholic faith and the story of the Catholic Church. It is being hosted live to give chances to interact with the panel, meet and make friends, and get questions answered.

You can sign up via this link.
