Situated in the heart of the city, the school has a long-standing commitment to providing an education rooted in care, community, and academic excellence. With small class sizes and a strong emphasis on pastoral support, Notre Dame Prep offers children the opportunity to flourish both academically and personally.
The school welcomes children from the age of two in its Nursery, providing a gentle and supportive introduction to school life. Funded places are available, including 15 hours of government funding for three-year-olds, helping to make high-quality early years provision accessible to families. The Nursery setting focuses on play-based learning, nurturing confidence, independence, and a love of learning from the very beginning.
There are currently spaces available for Reception starting in September 2026, and there is no closing date for admissions. This rolling admissions policy offers flexibility for families who may be new to the area or considering a change in schooling.
During the Open Mornings, parents will have the opportunity to meet staff, tour the school, and learn more about its ethos, curriculum, and pastoral care. Wraparound care is available to support working families, and competitive fees ensure that an independent education remains within reach for many.
As a school community inspired by Catholic values, Notre Dame Preparatory School works closely with the wider Church and the Diocese of East Anglia, fostering respect, compassion, and service in all aspects of school life.
