Safeguarding in Youth Ministry

The Diocese of East Anglia takes the welfare of children and young people seriously and follows procedures laid out by the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA).

CSSA provides guidance and resources to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people who are served by the Catholic Church in England and Wales. If you are planning activities with children and young people in your parish (inc. Confirmation/First Communion groups, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, youth groups, trips etc.) please read the following guidance:
