The Community of Our Lady of Walsingham (COLW) is one of the newest religious communities in the Catholic Church. They currently have a branch of vowed sisters and a branch of lay members (which includes people who are single and married), in the future they hope to have a branch of vowed brothers and priests.
COLW run Dowry House Retreat Centre on behalf of the National Catholic Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham and recently acquired their first convent in Dereham. The increasing requests for spiritual direction, retreats and work in parishes and schools means they are looking for someone who is self-employed to provide them with a number of administrative duties.
These duties will include: managing correspondence and finances, processing of payments and general care of COLW’s office which will also include working with our team of volunteers and members of the community.
If you would like further information on the role or wish to apply, please email Sr Camilla COLW at: admin@walsinghamcommunity.org or call 01362 421442 / 077333 85788.
The closing date for applications is 10th September, 2021.
