Bishop Peter Collins has expressed his support for Aid to the Church in Need’s Article 18 Petition, which calls for greater protection of religious freedom across the world.
In a video message, Bishop Peter encouraged people throughout the Diocese of East Anglia to support the campaign, which highlights the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.
The petition forms part of ACN’s work to raise awareness of those who face persecution, discrimination and violence because of their faith.
Parishioners are encouraged to watch Bishop Peter’s message and consider signing the petition in solidarity with those who are unable to practise their faith freely.
