Following the Mass, the celebrations continued in the Church Hall, where parishioners enjoyed a warm and welcoming breakfast. Fr Simon delighted everyone by preparing bacon baps and French toast in the parish kitchen, adding a personal and convivial touch to the morning.
The event was not only a spiritual and social success but also a charitable one. Through the generosity of those attending, £180 was raised in support of Aid to the Church in Need, helping to assist persecuted and suffering Christians around the world.
The gathering provided a fitting tribute to St Joseph, combining faith, fellowship and charity, hallmarks of parish life in the Diocese of East Anglia.
