Corpus Christi to be celebrated in Latin at Walsingham

The Association for Latin Liturgy is organising a Mass and Vespers at Walsingham for the Feast of Corpus Christi.

The celebrations will take place at the National Catholic Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham on Sunday June 6. At 2.30pm there will be a solemn sung Mass in the Ordinary Form in Latin, with sung chants from the Graduale Parvum. At 4.30pm there will be Vespers and Benediction.

For the first time, Gregorian psalm Introits for every Sunday and Holy Day will be presented in both Latin and English. They are simple to sing but wholly authentic, and well within the capability of choirs from any parish church.

Further information is available from Paul Henriksen, the East Anglia Diocesan Representative of the Association for Latin Liturgy, on 01263 712288 or paul.henriksen@latin-liturgy.org
