Diocese marks tenth anniversary of death of Bishop Michael Evans

Bishop Alan Hopes led the Diocese in Masses and prayers offered for his predecessor, Bishop Michael Evans, over the weekend of July 10/11 in St John’s Cathedral, Norwich, to mark the tenth anniversary of his death.

At the end of Mass he went to Bishop Michael’s place of rest near the Bishop’s Chair, blessed it and offered prayers for him. Parishes across the Diocese led prayers for Bishop Michael at every Mass in the Bidding Prayers. May he rest in peace.
