Join Bishop Peter at March for Life UK 2026

People from across the Diocese of East Anglia are being invited to join thousands of others in London for this year’s March for Life UK on Saturday 5 September, with a dedicated coach service departing from Norwich and Ipswich.

Bishop Peter Collins will be among 14 Catholic bishops attending the annual event, which brings together people of all ages to witness to the dignity of human life and to pray for a culture that values and protects every person.

The day begins with a range of activities in London, including a Catholic Mass, family-friendly events and age-appropriate sessions for children, teenagers and young adults. The main march will set off at 1.30pm from the Emmanuel Centre, followed by speeches in Parliament Square.

To help people from East Anglia attend, a coach has been organised with departures from the Cathedral of St John the Baptist in Norwich (no parking available) at 6.30am and St Pancras Church in Ipswich at 7.45am. The return journey will leave the Emmanuel Centre at 5pm.

Tickets cost £25 return for adults, £10 for under-18s, while children under five travel free. Priests and pastors can travel free of charge, although all seats must be booked in advance.

Those wishing to travel from Norwich can contact Helen on 07905 713407 for further information. For the Ipswich pick-up, enquiries should be directed to Sarah on 07522 289449.

Places can be booked online via Eventbrite or by scanning the QR code below.

Organisers are encouraging families, parish groups and individuals from across the Diocese to take part in what promises to be a joyful and prayerful day of witness in the heart of the capital.
