Shipping has become more efficient, but what does this mean for the seafarers working on ships? On the first anniversary of the Ever Given vessel grounding in the Suez Canal, you are invited to join Stella Maris (formerly known as Apostleship of the Sea) for an online panel discussion on March 23 from 7.30pm to 9pm.
The event will discuss the impact modernisation is having on seafarers today, and the important role Stella Maris has in supporting them. The panel will consist of Bud Darr, Executive Vice President at MSC Group, Marc Levinson, economist and journalist, Stella Maris Chaplain Anne McLaren, and other experts in the shipping industry. To attend, please register at www.stellamaris.org.uk/modernisation
