Below you will find a list of events from around the Diocese of East Anglia, the majority are run by the Diocesan Youth Service but some may be run by other organisations operating in the Diocese. Ignite Mass for Young People – Second Saturdays
LIVE from a different location in the Diocese each month on the 2nd Saturday. Join us in person or online for a Mass to which all young people (and their families) are especially invited.

Sunday 24th January, 7-9pm – Ignite Lite Meet-Up on Zoom
Join members of the Ignite Lite volunteer group as we gather for social time, teaching, prayer and to plan for upcoming volunteering opportunities. All aged 16-35 in East Anglia are welcome to join (you don’t need to be a member of Ignite Lite to come along!). Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know you are coming.
Saturday 27th February, 2-4:30pm – Glow: Online
Come and spend time with other 13 to 19 year olds as we explore the life-changing gift of faith with intriguing and fun workshops, great music and powerful prayer times. We look forward to spending time with you virtually! This event is open to all in the age range – you don’t need to live in our Diocese. Interested non-Catholics and Catholics are all welcome!

In-Person Glow Events 2021
We hope to be able to run in-person Glow events this year where the Coronavirus situation permits. Information will be posted here when it is available. In the meantime why not join us for Glow Online?
1st-3rd May 2021 – Ignite Festival 2021 TBC
Join us for the East of England’s premier Catholic youth event featuring top speakers, dynamic music and powerful opportunities for prayer. All young people aged 12+ are welcome.
WE HOPE TO RUN AN IN-PERSON FESTIVAL THIS YEAR IF CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS ALLOW. THIS MAY TAKE THE FORM OF A DAYTIME EVENT OR OUR USUAL OVERNIGHT EVENT. UPDATES WILL BE POSTED HERE AS SOON AS THEY ARE AVAILABLE.

2021 – ECHO Walsingham
World-class Catholic formation for young adults aged 18-35 exploring how to find fulfilment in sexuality and relationships and in discovering God’s will for your life. A collaboration between the National Shrine of Our Lady and Dumb Ox Ministries (from the United States). Visit www.walsingham.org.uk/echo for info.
Saturday 19th March 2022 – Flame at Wembley Arena
Join us for the biggest Catholic youth gathering in England with thousands of young people at the world-famous SSE Wembley Arena. The theme for Flame 2022 is beLoved and the day is set to include lively music, international speakers and a lot more. Open to those from Year 9 up to and including university age. The Ignite Team also runs various events within parishes and schools including retreats, school missions and youth Masses. Glow Days: These are one-day events run by the Ignite Team in local areas around the Diocese. The day is composed of dynamic talks, interactive workshops, activities, music and opportunities for prayer and reflection. If you would like to find out more, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Discipleship Days: these are similar to our Glow Retreat Days but are aimed at people aged 16 – 35, exploring areas of our faith in greater depth and also enabling us to grow together in fellowship. The day is composed of times of prayer, both communal and personal, talks, discussion and workshops.
