There was a joyful celebration at St Laurence’s Church in Cambridge as 24 young people received the Sacrament of Confirmation during a Mass celebrated by Bishop Peter Collins.
The Bishop led the parish in a prayerful and uplifting liturgy, welcoming the candidates as they took this important step in their journey of faith. Beautiful music and reverent worship helped make the occasion a memorable one for the confirmands, their families and the wider parish community.
Following the Mass, parishioners gathered to continue the celebrations with a shared meal, giving family and friends the opportunity to mark the special occasion together in a warm and joyful atmosphere.
The evening was a fitting celebration of faith, fellowship and the continued growth of the Church’s young people at St Laurence’s.
